I’m a Doctor Who fan. I began watching the original old shows from the 1960s. I was very happy when the Doctor Who series started up again.
I’ve found ASCII art created for the Doctor Who series, both the old and new shows. It was really great to find the older art. Most of the art created are daleks. That was a surprise. Next in popularity was the Tardis. Not so surprising there. The Tardis would be an easier design to recreate in ASCII (text) art. Of course, the Tardis is also one of the key elements of Doctor Who. Anyone seeing that blue police box, even in the black and white of text art, will know just what it is.
One thing I was especially looking to find were the Weeping Angels in ASCII art. No luck there. I don’t think I will create one myself. A bit too freaky to look at one of them too long, or for any length of time really. You might get something in your eye.
