I made a sleepy fox for my niece. She isn’t sleepy, she likes to sleep in but that’s what teenagers do. I had an idea to make a big background for it with a crescent moon and pine trees. So far the moon is not working out. But, the fox did.

This is based on a text art cat which I keep seeing posted as ASCII art. But, it did not have the ASCII art characters only. So I fixed/ adjusted it.

Frabjous Cheshire CatJust finished! I could fiddle with the tail more but this seems to be the best I could manage. Fiddling just seemed to throw it off so this is how it is going to be. Besides, you can fiddle and fiddle and then wish you had just left it alone. I have learned (the hard way) to keep copies of the art I’m working on so I can go back to the version I had before.

A Shark for Rob Stewart

I’ve been working on a shark for awhile. It was difficult to get the curves and straights to flow into each other and not having it look more like a dolphin than a shark. I like this as an end result. Perfect? No, but its pretty good. A tribute to our Canadian filmmaker, Rob Stewart.
