I made these as real estate icons. Making ASCII art from icons I find online is fun, like a creative art exercise. Icons are fairly simple in design and not big projects to start.
I have a design in my head, mostly. This is a much simpler version of it.
ASCII Art polka dots. I have always liked polka dots. They look happy.
Trying another design from a pattern in a necklace online. I am fairly sure this has already been done by others in ASCII art. I was hoping to get a poinsettia from working on this. No luck so far.

Is it really stealing if you’re just using the basic idea and adapting it for your own. So much of creativity is based on taking something you’ve seen and changing it or trying to illustrate it for others to see. I really like the layout of this site, selling embroidered goods. I like the colours and the three column layout and things are placed well in the design too.… Read the rest
