Year of the Snake: Happy New Year ASCII Text Art

In the Chinese zodiac, we are soon to begin the Year of the Snake. People born in the year of the snake tend to have a good temper, they are intuitive and they are usually financially secure. They can be private people, jealous, fickle and tend to over-do things. Snakes are creative and diligent but thrive best with calm and order.

The Year of the Snake begins on February 10th, 2013 this time in the cycle of the Chinese zodiac.

There are people who think it is a sign of good fortune and delight to find a snake in their home. Not everyone feels this way. Between people who keep snakes as pets and those who fear snakes, I think there are a huge amount of people who may not have a phobic fear of snakes but would not ever choose a snake for a pet.

If you live somewhere in a rural area you could build a snake house, a place for them to over winter on your land in an out of the way spot. Most snakes in Ontario (if you even see one at all) are not poisonous or dangerous to people in any way.
